The Girlfriends of Gravia was formed in January of 2017 with a purpose to empower women without disempowering men. Having worked in the media industry for a number of decades, founder Vivienne Ryan saw how important it was for women to unite and connect amazing humans together on both a professional and personal level.

Navigating our way through a very complex culture of defining and redefining gender roles is integral to our growth as females and having a community like the GGs allows the space for honest and open connections.

The GGs holds regular events throughout the year, one of which is the annual GGs luncheon which is held in July. This luncheon provides a voice for incredible women to share their stories of trials and triumphs whilst raising money for inspiring Australian charities.
